A luxury retail brand is hiring an experienced Merchandising Director to lead a large and mature team and monitor all merchandising, planning, inventory, and stock allocation activities for HK and Macau markets.
- Lead a large merchandising and planning team to develop the merchandise and planning strategies in order to achieve company goals
- Lead the team to manage and execute product sourcing plan according the regions merchandising mix
- Manage inventory planning and stock replenishment for product assortment
- Work closely and communicate with retail team to understand customer consumption behavior and merchandising needs to align with the merchandising plans
- Update on the retail trend and be familiar with different product categories
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above with at least 15 years of merchandising, planning and inventory control management experience for HK and Macau retail market
- Strong knowledge of merchandising with prior experience from fashion retail is a must, luxury is preferable.
- Strong leadership skills and outstanding people management experience
- Excellent communication skills with good commercial sense
- Excellent command of both written and verbal Chinese and English
