A luxury fashion brand is hiring a Merchandiser for one of the brand’s categories to formulate effective merchandising plan and OTB for product assortment.
Major duties:
- Support the Merchandising Manager to formulate and implement merchandising strategy including product assortment and inventory management
- Assist management to prepare budget on annual and seasonal basis
- Prepare OTB budget for seasonal buying trips
- Prepare product presentations on seasonal strategies, product directions and market initiatives to brand management
- Analyze and monitor sales and market trends to identify potential market opportunities
- Works closely with other internal departments to develop PR exposure and ensure an excellent in-store display for the product assortment
- Communicate with retail staff to have good understanding on customer needs and feedback in order to formulate effective execution of product plan and merchandising strategy
Main requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Fashion, Business or other related fields
- A min of 5 years related retail experience with strong fashion and business sense
- Able to foster teamwork across departments with a proactive and positive manner
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
- Fluency in English and Chinese is a must, with French a plus
- Able to go for business trips occasionally and as required
