Our Client, an Asset Management Company is actively looking for market talent for the position of Chief Marketing Officer, this is a newly set up position and with the mission to plan, develop and implement integrated both on line and off line marketing strategies to deliver against the Company’s business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead to plan, drive, develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to deliver against the business objectives and P&L accountable
  • Monitor the trend, competitive scene, regulation and consumer behavior in driving the development for the formulation of overall digital marketing strategies and to establish the company’s innovative image and leading position from an on-line platform.
  • Build a strategic road map across multiple digital and social media channels and customer segments by taking into consideration target audience dynamics, needs, and business impact.
  • Work with other business management teams to develop industry analysis, market segmentation, target group identification, prospect, etc.
  • Lead the team in establishing the digital marketing strategy and in achieving the online leads and opportunity targets, and a continued growth of online presence and success
  • Analyze marketing metrics, including ROI, for online and offline campaigns, to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing activities and business results, and provide recommendations
  • Ensure all programs/ projects are strictly adhered to professional practices, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Efficiently manage cost control, initiate market research/ customer survey and business analysis to support thorough evaluation of marketing strategy and campaign effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in marketing roles, with 5 years focus in digital marketing and leading a Marketing division in finance / technology centric organizations
  • Proven ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels required
  • Good business acumen with sound knowledge of banking and financial products with ability to multi-task and to establish and drive high priority initiatives
  • Ability to keep abreast of changes in markets, customer needs, competitors’ responses and capabilities to identify new business opportunities and appropriate marketing strategy
  • Strong project management, people and negotiations skills; able to motivate others to strike for excellence
  • Self-motivated, result oriented, attentive to details and able to work under pressure in efficient manner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill to work, interact with cross-function teams and facilitate business interactions
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)
