Our Client, an Assets Management Financial Institution focus in Fund products is looking for a Chief Operation Officer for their newly establish office in Hong Kong to oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and business management. This position will be reporting to the CEO and to maintain control of diverse business operations. The goal is to secure the functionality of business and to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the overall Assets Management business, operations and Investor Relations
  • Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Setting up of annual corporate plan and organization goal
  • Drafting of the departmental operation procedures, policies and its subsequent implementation
  • Overseeing operations of the company and working closely with other internal department, eg. IT, Marketing, Legal & Compliance
  • Lead projects in operations to ensure development is aligned to business needs as implemented on a timely and cost effective basis
  • Liaise with regulators and government bodies, business partners and stakeholders
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance team and set internal risk /compliance standards
  • Participate in expansion activities including public event and corporate functions

Requirements

  • University graduate in Business or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of operating and management experience gained from leading financial Institutions including Bank, Fund House, Asset Management Companies etc.
  • Must be highly familiar with Banking regulation and compliance standards
  • Multi-tasking ability and highly result oriented personality
  • Outstanding organizational skills and strong leadership capabilities
  • Aptitude in decision making and with excellent problem solving skills
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills, strong public speaking capability
  • Proactive and meticulous personality
